TecHQ NZ Boost Their Rental Inventory with Acme Lighting
TecHQ NZ, a leading rental company based in Auckland specialising in delivering creative AV productions, have invested in new Acme Lighting gear in order to boost their professional lighting inventory. The recent purchase included twelve Acme LYRA powerhouse fixtures together with twelve Acme NEOZONE wash beam fixtures. This takes their Acme lighting rental inventory close to 100 fixtures!
So they know that the Acme technology is reliable, robust, and a great asset when it comes to return on investment.
TecHQ NZ already have a good amount of Acme fixtures in their rental inventory and have been utilising them for their creative productions over the last few years.
This time they were looking for a high light output moving head profile fixture, specifically to be used for long throws in large venues. It needed to be IP65 rated with framing shutters and animation wheel and provide a wide zoom capability. Acme LYRAs turned out to be an ideal solution for what they needed, ticking all the boxes plus more and surprising the team with a great price point.
The Acme NEOZONE fixture came out as an absolute winner in this category, and a perfect solution to what the client required.
The second type of fixture they were looking for was a moving head wash light, a multi-element fixture, which needed to provide a high light output and an individual pixel control.
The client was really impressed about the capabilities of the new Acme fixtures.
Straight after delivery, the fixtures were specified for their first gig for ETM at the Viaduct Events Centre.
They are great fixtures with good output, deep colours, great gobos & IP is a bonus. We can’t wait to use them on more of our bigger shows this year.
